If I go to uxterm on my linux box I do not seem to have any cut and paste capability. Although you will find some versions (distributions) of Linux for purchase, the vast majority are provided free of charge, like Ubuntu MATE. In a nutshell Ubuntu MATE is free, in the truest sense of the word. You should not use Konsole for this, however, unless you already have KDE installed. If I shell in to mmy linux box using PuTTY I can highlight some text and use right click to paste that highlighted stuff into xrerm apps such as nano and I can right click or ctrl v to paste into a windows application here on my vista laptop.
