12/20/2023 0 Comments Nerf zombie strike 2 pack![]() Nerf blasters are simple toy guns which fire foam darts, discs or foam balls. Today they cover a wide range of products including foam swords and shields, and foam balls. Improved foam dart-shooting capabilities took these blasters to the next level. Nerf began with very simple looking foam blasters and as the years went by, the designs and engineering developed further, looking more advanced with each lineup. Although their foam blasters resemble realistic guns and have similar mechanisms in their functions, Hasbro refuses to refer to them as toy guns for safety and legal reasons – opting instead with the term Nerf Blasters. As one of the most successful projectile-based toy brands ever produced, Nerf has made its way to Malaysia, into our homes, and into our hearts. I still need to tinker with it a bit, but I should be able to arrive at a perfect solution soon.Nerf is a line of foam-based products and toys that are invented and marketed by the toy giant Hasbro. Overall, I came to a conclusion that everything in this project is a question of the balance between shooting force, the weight of the half-bullet and the product inside of it. There is also no need for a plastic bullet or plastic lining glitter easily falls out of the foam shell. If it's standard glitter, it's barely visible because you can't fit enough of the product into the half dart and the result is kind of underwhelming. The product itself needs to be bigger in size it needs to either be plastic (not paper, it's too lightweight) confetti or big-grained glitter.Without it the power isn't sufficient to eject it. Spring mod is necessary for the half-dart to shoot out. This way the product can easily fall out of the shell once ejected and there is no need to make paper shells. Cutting the dart in half and making incisions at the base of the dart helped tremendously. ![]() Ok, so I tried what you/I suggested last time and the results are as follows: ![]() ![]() I thought about utilising syringe tubes with the right diameter for making shells, they're plastic and will probably be heavy enough to be ejected from the gun + possibly i'll avoid the issue of the filling getting stuck to the foam. The only thing i'm worried about is that nerf bullets are made of foam and the confetti/glitter stuff might cling to it and not fall out, so paper/plastic shells might be a better idea, but we'll see. I haven't tested it out yet - I'll leave a comment if i come to any conclusion. Still, what you suggested is more or less what i intended to experiment with! Since I don't have the dart posts anymore, i'm left with a very convenient hollow nerf bullet which i can pack with stuff (idk why i haven't thought about it before lol.) What i wanted to do is to cut it in half, cut 4 incisions near the base of the dart so that it "opens" more easily, load it with confetti, insert it upside down into the barrel which I couldn't do with dart posts still inside (so that the confetti doesnt spill into the gun when i raise it into the air, for example) and shoot, then let the gravity do its thing. I don't need the second barrel at all, with this project i need to be able to shoot just 1 stuff-loaded projectile at a time ('at a time' meaning before i need to reload it with another hollow shell.). ![]() but it's not a problem, the gun shoots just fine - if not better - without it. i cut the dart post off, it didn't serve any purpose for me and obstructed the insert of the dart, so i don't have it anymore. Thanks for the reply! First off, two things: 1. I'd get a different, more powerful nerf gun, but I specifically want a more-or-less classic looking revolver and that's all i found apart from fortnite revolver which is waaaay to big for my taste. the gun definitely gained power with the darts but it still doesn't shoot out hollow bullets, even if i weigh them with plastic so that they have similar weight to nerf darts. i got rid of the bars inside the AR system, I lubed the piston and the AR system and added a 1 cm piece of tube to the cock spring so that the spring cocks tighter. UPDATE: since it's a smart AR system, i can't take the AR out because it will cut the power in half and cause both of the barrels to shoot at the same time. neither does loading the gun with loose confetti or paper scraps - it doesn't shoot anything apart from the dedicated nerf dart. before i bought it i thought i'd experiment with loading it with hollow paper shells containing confetti and it would shoot the confetti cloud together with the shell, but i made a couple of tries and it doesn't work. ive recently got my hands on a zombie strike doublestrike blaster because i liked the shape of it (revolver-like) and wanted to mod it into somehow shooting light projectiles containing glitter/confetti/yougettheidea. ![]()
